二、教学目标
1、使学生明确学习英语的目的性;
2、优化学生的英语学习方法，使他们能通过观察、体验、探究等主动学习的方法，充分发挥自己的学习潜能，形成有效的学习策略，提高自主学习的能力
3、在培养学生的语言知识、语言技能、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养的基础上发展学生综合运用语言的能力;
三、课时安排
高一要学第三、四模块，供10个单元。每个单元我们会安排5-6个课时。每三周完成两个单元的教学和一次测验，给学生补充一些与课文有关的知识性、趣味性较强的阅读文章。增加学生学习外语的兴趣。并积极为高一段的英语书法比赛，词汇竞赛做好准备，为期中考、期末考做好积极的准备。
四、教学具体措施
1、为了使学生打牢基础不至于出现知识断层，本学期要有计划的把学生上学期学过的但掌握不好的时态、句式、定语从句、以及部分掌握不好的词汇、短语、句型分插于10单元的新课教学中。
2、认真研究新课程标准，尤其与旧大纲不同的地方，清楚哪些内容是新增加的，哪些内容是已经删掉的，哪些内容初中已经学的。3、认真研究新教材，在集体备课的基础上认真备课、上课，认真进行自习辅导和批改作业。
4、单词一直是学生的难点、薄弱点，直接影响学生综合能力的提高，在教学中要重视词汇教学，狠抓单词的记忆与巩固以及对词汇的意义与用法的掌握。使学生掌握科学的单词记忆方法和养成勤查词典的习惯。
5、坚持每周一次作文训练，训练题材、方法力求多样化，并能及时进行讲评。鼓励学生写英文日记，对个别英语特差的学生尽量多批改、多指导。
6、阅读理解能力的培养是高中教学的重点，也是高考的重头戏。在单元教学中专门抽出一节课作为阅读课，材料为课外五篇课外阅读理解，并且有计划的指导学生掌握科学的阅读方法。
7、集体备课是提高教学质量和整体教学水平的有力保证，有利于经验丰富的教师与年轻教师互为补充、共同提高。坚持每周一次的集体备课，集体备课前先确立一名中心发言人，由中心发言人先确定下周所教单元的重点、难点及在高考中的比重及为完成教学内容所用的教法，然后全组人员共同探讨，最后确定下来。中心发言人依次轮流。
8、坚持教学研究和相互听课，年轻教师要向老教师学习如何把握重点、难点和考点，老教师要向年轻教师学习如何灵活运用先进的教法。教师之间互相听课本学期每人不少于30节。

Are you an early riser or a night owl? Researchers from Aachen University in Germany believe that about 10 percent of people can be classified as “morning people”, who feel more active and function best in the morning.Around 20 percent are night owls—people who naturally tend to stay up late and are more tired during the day.And the rest of us fall somewhere in between, according to New Scientist.

(CBS/AP)Lawyers for the stepfather of an 11-year-old girl tried to convince Massachusetts’ highest court on Tuesday that he should have a say on whether his stepdaughter is removed from life support. If the girl dies, Jason Strickland could face a murder charge for illegally taking part in the beating that left her comatose(昏迷).
Jason Strickland is asking the court to overturn a juvenile(少年) court judge’s decision allowing the state to remove Haleigh Poutre from her ventilator (呼吸机) and feeding tube.
Haleigh Poutre was hospitalized in September after her stepfather and adoptive mother kicked her and beat her nearly to death with a baseball bat.

The state Department of Social Services wants to remove her from life support, according to opinions from her doctors that the girl is in a permanent vegetative(植物人状态的) state.And Strickland could face a murder charge if she dies.
Both of Haleigh’s doctors agree that she should be removed from the ventilator, but they can’t decide whether her feeding tube should be disconnected.They have said that with her feeding tube alone, Haleigh could live as long as two months.

学会的东西随着时间的流逝会逐渐遗忘，但学语言有遗忘现象是正常的。更不必因为有遗忘现象而影响自己学好英语的信心与决心。问题在于如何来减轻遗忘的程度。这就要求大家要善于类比，总结知识，把新学的知识同过去学的有关的知识进行横向和纵向比较和联系。建立错误档案记录，也就是做好你的错题本，以加深印象，以避免再犯同样错误。我们大部分知识和技能是靠重复获得的，及时复习对于记忆非常必要，学英语就是要坚持不断的练习，不断地重复基本句型，常用词汇和基本语法等。学习英语的过程也是同遗忘做____的过程。作为一名高中生，你必须有笔记，精题本和错题本或者叫做纠错笔记。课后要进一步理解课上所学的内容，如整理笔记、复习重点和难点;熟读或背诵重要句子;通过归纳、分析和比较，使知识条理化;根据个人情况有针对性地进行复习，纠错。
5、自备一本词典
对于重点词汇或易混词要勤查词典，学会用简单的英语去解释生词，其目的在于培养你的自学能力，以便今后能正确使用英语词典等工具书，准确地理解词义。
6、抓阅读，赢高考
阅读能力是一切能力之本，也是高考要求的重中之重。在有了一定的听、说能力之后，培养阅读能力也是高一阶段的重要步骤。
阅读能力的培养要从兴趣入手，课外时间尽量多看些课外读物或英语报刊杂志，多读故事类、幽默笑话类材料，以便提高学习英语的兴趣。另外，可以积累一些英语谚语、警句等(如：Practicemakesperfect.熟能生巧;Wherethereisawill,thereisaway.有志者，事竟成)。这样在扩大自己知识面的同时激励自己发奋学习。阅读数量标准。每天应坚持阅读两篇文章，每篇300—500字。可集中时间读，也可利用零散时间读。精读、泛读相结合。精读是指认真处理生词、难句，对句子成份认真分析等，既学语言又学语法。泛读则是指重视了解文章大意，可采取略读、跳读等方法。不论是精读还是泛读都切忌边读边查字典，这样会打断阅读的整体思路不利于语言能力的提高。
7、多说多背英语，培养语感
多写英语，锻炼自己的组词造句能力;课余时间要多与老师交流，解决遗留问题，坚持勤学好问。
根据语言学习的规律，预习和复习是良好的学____惯中不可缺的环节。课前的预习是上好课的基本前提和必要准备;复习是进一步消化理解，巩固记忆，把所学的内容条理化、系统化的过程，复习应及时，复习的方式应多样化。有人认为多做题就能解决问题。人们常说：量的积累可达到质的飞跃。但是盲目地追求数量而忽视质量是不可取也是无效的。死扣语法不重视在一定的语境中体会、运用知识也是不正确的。
对于整个高中阶段的学习，英语始终占据着重要位置。很多人错误的认为高考是高三的事情，殊不知“冰冻三尺，非一日之寒;为山九仞，岂一日之功。”学习是一个循序渐进的过程，英语的学习更是如此。若想在起跑线上领先一步，最终赢得高考，就不能等到高三再准备高考，更不能等到高三再学习英语。
高中是英语学习的分水岭，是真正进行英语学习的关键时期。在初中阶段，同学们学习了英语语法的部分基本框架，同时积累了一定量的基本词汇。而进入高中后，则需要掌握英语语法的全部基本框架，同时需要从单纯的单词记忆转化为系统的语言学习。
